I've been looking for more designs to fold, they're often very fun.. recently, I can find some blogs which show off some pieces, but not how to make them.
Occasionally, I dabble in play folds, just take a sheet of paper, and exploratively fold, and see what happens. Have found a few cool things.. though it is odd looking at the pieces without instructions. Sometimes I see designs that I maybe just barely could imagine how to create without instructions.. but oh, I still love classically learning pieces!
And you get to thinking about the difference between folding versus teaching, so fair.
The pieces that I have learned from teachers, yes, I can teach pretty much any of them? But, I don't think I've done enough of what could be classified as design to say that I have created a unique piece worthy of being taught.
They're patterns!!! If you discover one, that doesn't mean it didn't exist before you made it. Going into art versus craft, ah how fun.
