The

大会が終わってきました。

New Saturday routine is great.

There's a tram/trolly in town that runs on the weekend, but it costs $11 to ride!!! ><

I might do it sometime anyway, but oh, I definitely think that's too much, particularly for what's happening in my life.

Origami has been going great. The program that I want to do this December is called "Advent of Tess" and can be found on youtube. I found 2 years of previous events, which means there's already a lot to work with. I found the program, and have been watching some of the videos, and trying some of the projects. The artist claims that the projects start easy at the beginning of the program, and get more difficult as the month goes on. Well, day 1 of 2023 was very easy for me: but I'm not sure it would be easy for everyone. Mid month of that year, was indeed very difficult, and infact, day 2 of that year, I also haven't completed yet.

Most of the projects for this year will be done on a 24x grid, I'm not sure how much that contributes to complexity. I decided to prefold many grids, and I'm working with square foot paper: which I sort of wish I found teachers also using. But, working on a smaller piece of paper can be a skill of it's own. I have folded 16x grid tesses on 3" paper.

This week promises to be difficult in its' own ways, probably not just for me, but alas.

Me being myself, wouldn't mind going to a Shinto shrine, I can think of at least one around that I could make it to, but I'm probably not going to make the effort.

Well, the advent of tess program inspired me to enjoy the number 25 for a while. N.e.w年 tends to be this event of epic proportions still. I try to live in retrospect and futurespect for just a minute: tend to focus on the future more, and try to make plans. I can't get over the fact that 24 isn't over yet, and with the next one coming up being 25, I'm on full on "25" mode. So I have been trying to think of what projects would be good to be suited with 25, and I've already started a few.

Trying to level up my digital arts skills, and have been using this app called "medibang," do you know it? Ugh, I really do not like its' button sets. It has made a maze out of doing things that both could and should be simple. Ibis paint is much better than it, imo. But I haven't been able to get Ibis or any other app to function on this particular machine, oh well.

Medibang is dealable, but also mysterious. Why is changing color made this impossible? Want to save your image or open a new file? You're going to spend longer than usual making it happen in this app.

It does have some ok features, but I find myself looking to be drawing shapes and angles that use measurements of numbers to deal with them being created, like trying to make very precise shapes, and I have not found the tools to do that just yet. I have very few ideas, except that the very old bmp app was closer to it than many things I've found.

Anyways, nice week y'all.
